Forever in our hearts

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene , he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life, that there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him, and he questioned the Lord about it. " Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you most you would leave me". The Lord replied "My Son, My precious child. I Love You, and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you".

Life is a Journey

Life is but a stopping place,
a pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys,
different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place,
far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
for some the journey's slow.

And when the journey finally ends,
we'll claim a great reward,

My Life changed, the very moment I found out

I couldn't stop it; there was nothing I could say.
You've touched my life so deeply to a point you will never know,
I try to think about you when I am feeling down and low.
Sometimes when my day gets hard
I will think about your beautiful smile
and if I listen hard enough I will hear your voice after a while.
It's you who give me a reason to go on with my day,
and now if I want to see you I'll bow my head and pray.
I catch myself looking for you still,
In the halls and at your front door,
but when I call your name there is no reply any more!
I never thought a day would come where we would be apart,
God has you in his keepings, we have you in our hearts.

Its that time of year again

When children love to play

Playing a waiting game waiting

Waiting for Christmas Day

Christmas trees and tinsel

Candles and Christmas cake

But amongst all that glitter

My heart begins to ache

Aching for a little boy

With eyes so big and blue

Thinking of you Callum

Thinking of me and you

Sat around a Christmas tree

Opening your toys

The usual things that are bought

For all the little boys

Instead I'll look up in the sky

And know your safe and sound

Along with your friend Scarlett

And all the angels round.

It doesn't have to be Christmas

For us to think of you

Just remembering how things were

The folks off liverpool will hold a celebration off life for all those tragically Killed on that black sat in April 89 at Hillsborough .. Flowers are often left in a little shrine by the Gates to LFC in memory off loved ones birthday,s anniversary etc it,s a very moving place to visit ..
This song is being released on CD to mark the 20th anniversary i remember that day well n couldnt belive what was happeing before my eye,s
