it,s awful what cancer does to the body i,l never forget my mam and some othr friends who went through it n poor Alex to he seemed to disapear beyond belief especially over tha last few wks bldy shame hope Blanche is managing to enjoy her time at home xxxxx

Haven't seen Blanche since last weekend, so i rang her today to see how she was. She didnt seem chatty but managed to tell me that she's now had to go on oxygen.
Also her brother and sister have also got cancer aswell. Her brother has just had major surgery to his face, jaw and neck and has gone through hell only to be told yesterday that its now kicked off on the other side of his mouth and neck.
Her sister found out she has breast cancer last weekend. WHAT A SORRY STATE THEY AS A FAMILY ARE IN. Cant stop thinking about them.

I know sometimes they say it can be heridtary but when siblings or parents get different cancers it can`t be My mam,s was in the bronchille tubes my dad was cancer off the colon n our Helena had a kidney removed because off cancer i had cancer cells in ovary in 85 thn as ya know the breast cancer twice non off our cancers were related .. so all i think is were all born with it n it just takes soemthing to trigger it off ... the one to the face is awful dont know if you remember Joe who used to deliver rathbones bread to vera,s shop yr,s ago ... when i was in christies in 91 he came in it had started in his Jaw they operated n he had radio but died within abt 6 months off it cos it spread

THINKING OF MY FRIEND BLANCHE WHO IS NOW VERY POORLY AND HAS BEEN TAKEN ONCE AGAIN INTO THE HOSPICE, CANCER HAS SPREAD TO HER OTHER LUNG NOW AND IS FIGHTING FOR EVERY BREATH, SO UPSETTING TO SEE HER LABOURING TO STAY ALIVE.
HELD HER HAND ALL AFTERNOON, SHE SAID SHE IS READY TO GO NOW, SHES HAD ENOUGH. SO SO SAD.

HEART WRENCHING DAY TODAY AT THE HOSPICE
BLANCHE NOW SO VERY VERY SICK, JUST BARELY HANGING ON IN THERE.
HER BREATHING IS VERY SLOW AND EXTREMELY DIFFICULT
SLEEPING MOST OF THE TIME AND NOT EATING, NO DOUBT WILL BE SAYING GOODBYE REAL SOON, BE SURPRISED IF SHE MAKES THE WEEKEND. SO SAD TO SEE A LOVELY LADY IN THIS CONDITION.

You are in my thoughts at this sad time June, you are a good friend and I 'm sure she knows you are there, it must be so heartbreaking for you but know we are all thinking of you x x x

BLANCHE'S CONDITION HAS WORSENED BUT SHE IS STILL HANGING ON IN THERE,
NOTICED THE WHITES OF HER EYES ARE YELLOWING NOW SIGN OF KIDNEY FAILURE.
CANT BELIEVE THE NEWS IVE HEARD TONIGHT, HER YOUNGER BROTHER IS ON A LIFE SUPPORT MACHINE AND COULD GO ANYTIME ASWELL. HE HAS CANCER IN HIS JAW AND NECK, HAD A HORENDOUS OPERATION WHERE THEY HAD TO CUT HALF HIS TONGUE OUT
AND ALL THE GLANDS IN HIS NECK, THEN TO BE TOLD ITS STARTED AGAIN IN THE OTHER SIDE OF HIS NECK AND JAW, AFTER HIS OP, HE SUFFERED WITH SEVERE DEPRESSON, ALSO HE'S DIABETIC. HER SYOUNGER SISTER BARBARA HAS BREAST CANCER ASWELL. CANT BELIEVE WHATS HAPPENED TO THIS FAMILY, ITS DEVASTATING AND VERY FRIGHTENING. THERE'S SUPPOSED TO BE A GOD BUT I WILL TAKE SOME CONVINCING. THERE AINT ONE IN MY LIFE.

I read your message to 007, so devastating, I understand how you feel. after losing two sisters one after the other and then my brother in law, I certainly questioned my faith. Life really is here to test us. x
